Konica Auto S2 Jan 2013

I have started on the overhaul of another Konica Auto S2 this morning.

I bought the camera from eBay.
I noticed couple of problems.

First one is the scratch on the back cover. This was not described on the auction page :)
The second one is the cosmetic problem on the film wind lever and someone put a wrong cap over the wind lever.
Luckily, I have a good back cover and film wind cover set.

The shutter speed ring and aperture rings are stiff from old grease.
The shutter is still working fine but I will be taking it apart for cleaning.

Sometimes the shutter on Konica Auto S2 has cracked casings. This problem develops when someone tries to forcefully move the self timer lever when the flash synch button is set on "M".

The shutter casing on this camera was good so I have proceeded to further disassembly.
I noticed something different about the shutter blade placement than the shutters that I had worked on before.
On all the other shutters on Konica Auto S2, they had small blade spaces from 1 to 4 blades at the bottom and the spacer on top over the last shutter blade.
On this shutter, the small spacers are from 2 to 4 at the bottom and no spacer at the 5 but the first shutter blade had two baldes which makes the beginning and the last shutter blade.
I believe Copal revised the shutter on the later Konica Auto S2.

All the shutter blades and aperture leaves have been cleaned.
The camera has been restored and ready to be purchased.
It is available from eBay, eCrater or from my web site.
