Add Diodes to Cameras Using Mercury Batteries
For cameras using one 1.35V battery (Minolta SRT 101, Nikkormat FTn), use ECG109, Germanium Diode between the battery box to the wire going to the meter board; This will drop the voltage of 1.5 volt alkaline battery.
For camera using two 1/35v battery, use 1N4007 silicone diode in series from the battery box to the wire going to the circuit board.
Put warning labels at the bottom cover for the conversion just in case user wants to use a zinc air battery which is 1.35v and no conversion is needed.

How to Remove the Praktica MTL and PLC Mirror Cage
You can try repairing the Praktica with a metal shutter if the camera is having issues with slow shutter speeds or the self-timer. If you have a camera that does not cock the shutter at the end of the film advance cycle, I would not try to fix it. MTL series is easier to work with.

How to remove meter from Konica Autoreflex A3 and T3.
This meter had corrosion and needed a replacement meter.
If you have a meter does not turn on, I would suspect corrosion at the battery terminal tan the meter.
Please see how to remove the mirror assembly and replace the corroded black wire.

Konica Autoreflex A3 is an economy version of T3..It has no shutter indicator in the view finder, no depth of field preview button, and no self timer. The disassembly is similar between Autoreflex T3 and A3.
